Johnny James started with only a small sound system and began performing at wedding receptions in the 1990's. His popularity grew and so did his DJ business. He later moved to Storm Lake, Iowa where he worked as an afternoon announcer at KAYL radio.
John's more than 15 year career in radio has taken him all around the Midwest, to cities and dance clubs in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska and most recently South Dakota. His love of music has always been his driving force and his broad music experience covers most formats-- Top 40, Country, Dance, Urban and even a bit of Big Bands!
